Circular Breathwork

My journey with breathwork began in Bali in December 2024, when I was introduced to this work through a friend. She shared how gentle and non-forceful it was, and that was what opened the door for me. I didn’t expect that I would step into breathwork, especially after being diagnosed with epilepsy over 10 years ago. It wasn’t something I had considered for myself, but the way this practice was offered felt safe, and I felt supported to explore it at my own pace. I began training in May 2025 and have been in continuous training since then. The practice I offer is conscious connected breathing—a circular, continuous breath that supports a deeper connection to the body and inner experience. While the breath can be activating, the approach is soft and non-forceful. It’s not about pushing or trying to reach a peak state, but about staying present with what is here and allowing the experience to unfold naturally. This work is deeply influenced by the space my teacher holds—heart-centered, open, and rooted in acceptance. Nothing is forced, and everything is welcome. You’re invited to listen to your body and respond to what you need in the moment—whether that’s adjusting the breath, moving, making sound, resting, or simply being with yourself. For me, this practice is about connection—connecting to the heart, to your inner truth, and to the intelligence of your own system. Even though the approach is gentle, it can still be deeply powerful. Integration is an essential part of how I hold these sessions. I value creating space afterwards to slow down, reflect, and allow the experience to land. This might include journaling, sharing, or simply resting. My intention is also to support a sense of ongoing connection—where people can continue to reflect on their experience beyond the session itself. Ultimately, this work is about honoring where you are, rather than trying to change it. It’s about creating a space where you can meet yourself with presence, softness, and honesty—and allowing whatever is ready to move, to move.

Bali
Eight Brocades Qi Gong Practice

My relationship with Qigong is rooted in lived experience. I spent six months in China training in the Wudang Mountains, a place deeply connected to Taoist cultivation and the internal arts. During that time, I studied with a range of Taoist teachers, which deeply shaped how I understand and embody this practice. What I share comes from that immersion—not just the movements themselves, but the philosophy behind them, and the relationship between breath, awareness, and the body. I was already interested in the meridian system before going to China, and I was naturally drawn to study with a teacher who has a background in Taoist medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. That influence continues to inform how I guide practice today, especially in understanding how Qigong supports balance and flow within the body. Movement has been a part of my life since early childhood. I trained as a dancer from a young age, and later explored contact improvisation, which continues to influence how I relate to movement. For me, Qigong isn’t something rigid—it’s something you build a relationship with over time, through listening and awareness. My approach is gentle, simple, and accessible. In class, we focus on connecting breath with movement, and allowing the body to open in a natural way. I also place importance on making the practice sustainable—something you can take into your daily life. Even a short 15–20 minute practice can be meaningful when it’s done with presence. My intention is to create a space where you can explore what this practice feels like in your own body, and begin to develop a relationship with it that feels supportive, personal, and aligned with your life.
